DÉFINITION BAISSIER : Le terme « baissier » fait référence dans le langage boursier au terme « bearish » qui fait référence à l’attitude d’un opérateur qui croit à la baisse des cours.

En finance, un investisseur bearish prend une position vendeuse sur l’actif ou le marché en question dans le but de racheter ultérieurement ses actifs à un prix inférieur à son prix de vente.
Les vendeurs à découverts sont des baissiers.
