Définition « Quotité »

DÉFINITION QUOTITÉ : La quotité est le nombre exact d’actifs ou de titres requis pour pouvoir effectuer une transaction (achat ou vente) sur certains marchés ou certains produits. Elle s’applique ainsi à certaines valeurs qui ne peuvent pas faire l’objet de négociation en bourse à l’unité.

Des quotités minimum sont souvent imposées sur les marchés de gré à gré, et sur les marchés à terme.
La quotité est de manière générale de :
– 100 titres pour les options de types européennes.
– 10 titres pour les options de types américaines.
